Who is Bilal
I am Bilal AlKhatib, an architecture student deeply passionate about creating spaces that are both functional and visually engaging. My journey in architecture is driven by curiosity about how design shapes the way people experience their environment, and by a belief in the profound difference that thoughtful design can make in someone’s life. I strive to blend creativity and technology with practicality in every project I undertake.

Through my coursework, personal projects, and hobbies, I have developed skills in 3D modeling, 3D printing, CAD design, generative design, local AI interfaces for homes, and sustainable architecture principles, allowing me to approach each project with a well-rounded perspective. I am particularly interested in exploring innovative design solutions, material experimentation, and the integration of technology into architecture, while always respecting the more humanist, soulful aspects of space, from conceptual sketches to detailed, buildable, and carefully considered designs.
Beyond technical skills, I constantly experiment with ways to make my work visually coherent and functionally effective, paying close attention to spatial planning, aesthetics, and user experience. This portfolio reflects my ongoing growth, showcasing a range of projects that highlight my commitment to thoughtful design, problem-solving, and continuous learning.
I am eager to take on new challenges, collaborate with fellow designers, and contribute to meaningful architectural projects that leave a positive impact on communities and the environment -- creating architecture that can carry us into the future without alienating our souls.
